Thai stocks opened down 0.84% at the start of trade this morning. The Stock Exchange of Thailand's main index opened at 1,481.92 points, down 12.61 points from Friday's close. The trade value was 3.04 billion baht with 501 million shares traded. The SET50 index opened at 923.30 points, down 10.51 points or 1.13%, with a total trade value of 1.72 billion baht. The MAI index went down 2.32 points or 0.39% to stand at 585.61 points with total transaction value of 146 million baht.
